FEEDBACK TO ANACORTESINFO WEBMASTER
The webmaster of anacortesinfo welcomes any feedback, insults, suggestions, complaints, and email. We do not promise to respond to every inquiry but will be happy to continue to develop this website based on contributions, ideas, and constructive criticism. This is a non-profit (at this time) operation. The only purpose is to provide information about goings on in Anacortes and related events, ideas, developments, and other stuff.
We will publish letters (unabridged, unedited) from Anacortes citizens or other Fidalgo Island citizens using about the same rules of engagement that the Anacortes American has; i.e., no cuss words, no slander, nothing really mean. However, we will allow certain name calling (in a humorous vein) and will accept 'stupid', 'genious', 'self centered', 'numb skull', 'idiot', 'handsome', 'pretty', 'nice', and a few others that aren't too derogatory in nature and are couched in a humorous vein. Remember, most people are really nice; it's only their ideas and opinions that, when different than ours (or yours), are what can be 'labeled'. True name calling is considered 'weak' and non productive. Insinuations can be mean but something like 'his idea, in my opinion, is as silly as a pig flying' isn't too bad. We will list acceptable adjectives somewhere in this site and will add to this list as the need arises. Input will be published in its entirety or not at all; depending on the rules of conduct. Suggestions will be appreciated.
Feedback will be accepted in MSWord, HTML, or ASCII text files and will be posted 'as received' if possible. The name of the person submitting the feedback will also be included as well as their email address (if desired by the contributor). We are extremely flexible and tolerant and believe that the internet is an excellent venue for expression and freedom of speech and hope to be able to support these concepts with the power of internet communication tools for the Anacortes community .
